Wow, It’s been a long time since I added to this blog. I’ve been checking over the visitors to my site and there have been more than I expected! The checkup has inspired me to update the blog to reflect upon my current state of spiritual awareness.

It’s been a long time in the making, but I have made the choice to become aware of myself. I have been observing my energy, emotions, values and reactions to each better day that I live through. It’s become very clear to me that finding yourself in time is a very good ‘anchor’ for inspired living.

What do I mean by ‘finding yourself in time’? The answer is very simple, to find yourself amongst the mess that the constant ‘time’ creates can be a very powerful tool to having a better day; If you ever feel overwhelmed, lost or confused simply taking a moment to locate your own emotions, values and reactions can provide you with a clear head and new motivation to assert yourself and obtain that positive mind frame that we need for inspired living.

Often the weight of recent events or future tasks become a large burden which really drags us down for lengths of time. My understanding of this is that our energy, our conscious thought, becomes emotionally driven by the symbolic ‘list’ of events that exist in the past and future. That emotional drive creates a connection between your current emotional state, the memory of previous feelings and the assumptions of what feelings are to come in the future. My reaction to this is to question why should something that exists outside of our grasp effect us in any other way than to motivate, empower or fulfill our emotions now?

The answer is that they shouldn’t. We can consciously gain awareness of what true emotions should exist at any moment, and filter away negative, disappointing and undesirable sensations created by the emotional baggage of past and previous events. I am not saying that these sensations should be ignored - instead - I am saying that there is a time and a place for each of these sensations to take hold of our lives in full. Anytime outside of that relative moment for each sensation is time that we should consciously sample positivity, potential and motivation from past and future events.

I like to use a mild meditation technique to locate myself in time, and become aware of what emotional state is relative to that moment in time. It’s very easy and it can take a few seconds to obtain a brief moment of enlightenment to inspire your day:

Place your hands and feet flat on the nearest place which is comfortable, this way be a desk, an arm rest or your lap and the floor.

Close your eyes and concentrate gently on the areas of your hands and feet which are connecting to the environment around you.

Concentrate carefully on the texture, the temperature, the environment that is around you and let those feelings manifest into an emotional response. e.g if you’re standing on a sharp object your emotional response will be a urgent need to move! or If you are resting your hands against the carpet as you’re lying on your back in your favorite room, you may feel that the emotional response is one of safety, calm and familiarity.

Spread the areas of concentration from your hands and feet, all the way across your body to every area that is pressing against an object and let your emotional response intensify.

At this time it would be a good idea to notice that your emotional response to your current surroundings is only relative to what is happening right now.

Now that you are concentrating on the moment, and how you feel in that moment imagine that emotions are a warm glow, a glow that fills your body and fills you with the emotions of the moment that you are currently living.

Take a deep breath and exhale, imagine exhaling the warm glow into the room around you. That awareness of the moment is now filling the room and has become your environment.

Open you eyes and reflect on what exists in the moment, and what has been pushed aside during your meditation. You may find that a pressing matter has become a manageable thought, or your writers block has now distanced itself further into the future and it no longer stimulates your anxiety.

By becoming aware of what emotions really exist in that moment you are able to complete the process of “Finding Yourself in Time”. With this awareness you can then consciously invite sensations which relate to past and future events back into your moment, and while doing so be sure to concentrate on welcoming the positive, motivational or meaningful aspects of those moments and allow the moment you live in to manifest into one which is truely valueable towards a better day and inspired living.

Learning the Origin of your Motivation

I have become immersed in the psychological study of motivation and emotion. Traces of it’s origin can be found in animal science, environmental influence and human relationship studies:

“Most motivation theorists assume that motivation is involved in the performance of all learned responses; that is, a learned behavior will not occur unless it is energized. The major question among psychologists, in general, is whether motivation is a primary or secondary influence on behavior. That is, are changes in behavior better explained by principles of environmental/ecological influences, perception, memory, cognitive development, or emotion.”

My intention of finding a better lifestyle and influencing the fashion of my own inspired living is to make knowledgeable and inspired decisions to improve my own environment and improve my life! This post is simply to share with you the evaluation posed by motivational theorists to connect with you on a path which you can take to get your feet off the ground!

I recommend that you take some time today to experience the origin of your own emotion. Whether it be through learning what fuels and inspires you or seeking fuel and inspiration for emotional growth. Find a book or a place which you can truly connect with the origin of your own motivation and let any inspiration you find in this place or within this knowledge unfold into something beautiful.

How to earn more money with your Personality

The money coming in the door each month often doesn’t cut the bills down enough to live a satisfying life. This means that people turn to sites like betterdayblog.com for techniques to improve their own lives to either fill the void of missing satisfaction from earning enough money, or develop themselves into a more stable person to grow into earning more money. This article will explain how you can earn more money with your personality, and anyone can do this to live a better lifestyle!

Unfortunately the world often treats our personalities in a way that makes the majority of people believe that their unique, natural qualities are just that, unique and too easy to be worth anything. This isn’t correct. When working towards a better lifestyle you need to focus on your unique qualities as assets. Assets which you can use to reflect your money making capacity. Your own quirks and mannerisms are what you should be making your most valued possessions.

Anyone can learn a new skill, anyone can learn a new way. But what you can do that everyone else can’t is become a rare and valued individual in exactly the way that suits you.

Easier said that done I know. So how do you do it? Answer: By following what is written below. I can accurately say that my own personal value appreciates by thousands of dollars each month. This is increased in the form of pay, regular pay rises and appreciation on rates for my skills. It is not because I am learning at such a vast rate that my skills consistently increase in value, this is impossible because your abilities will always reach a cap. Your personality, however, is unmeasured!

Read this to learn how to earn more money with your personality:

1. Place value in Yourself.

You are a living, eating, breathing, thinking machine! Your potential is worth more than anything that you could possibly own at this time in your life, I can assure you. So leverage that potential. Place value in your ability to grow and learn. If you’re current employer does not, then he is not going to make this any easier. I make sure that the people who are fueling my income understand that my potential can be cashed in incrementally each day and my personal value will appreciate each month. By leveraging my own personal growth as an asset, I motivate myself to learn and grow in a more practical manner and I am proving to my clients and employers that I am increasing in value. They can’t disagree! So they pay me more for it.

If I was to leave the valuing in their hands, they would keep me on the same flat rate. This is because, like most people, they are leveraging only time for money - and money for time - so they see their investment in me as just a way to gain their own time. You need to break their way of thinking and trust in them to exchange money for potential, your potential. Let them know and see how you are more than just a time machine to them, and they will reward you with your focus of a better income. If they cannot; find someone who can.

2. All of your time is worth Something

When you are stepping into the bathroom each morning and watching in the mirror as your mouth overflows with toothpaste bubbles, take a moment to readjust your personality. People are brainwashed to believe that they are only worth money, when they are sacrificing their time to work. Don’t be like that.

Change that way on thinking right now, if you have the potential to earn money during work hours, this can be translated into earning something during all hours. You can translate this by ascertaining a tangible return on your time. If you spend time cooking a meal, you are learning and nourishing your body, you are preparing a meal and you are often saving money because you are doing it yourself. If you are talking with a friend, you are sharing and loving another person. You can be obtaining a valuable return on all of your time, don’t overlook this at any moment!

Once you understand this way of thinking you will start to realize that when you are spending time on something with no return, this is a completely wrong way to use your time. It is actually worse for your time to have something to do with no return, than to have nothing to do. By having nothing to do, you at least have the potential to turn that time into something great. By knowing this; you will start to exchange wasted time for better value, it’s kind of like trading in an old car for a brand new one! You will begin to appreciate the value of your own time and eliminate wasted moments!

Most people set earning more money and financial stability as a highly valued commodity to their own lives. So naturally you will eventually start to increase your own income with the time you are exchanging for what was wasted time, because you will start to focus on cash as a return for your time!

3. Make sure your personality is valuable to Others

The best rate of exchange in any economy is appreciation and improvement. This is usually because a member of an exchange is trading a valuable asset to increase their own value at a rate which exceeds their payment for that value. But remember: not everyone deems value to be in the form of money, and people are often exchanging tangible goods such as cash, for what they see as something valuable to themselves. Tailor your personality to enhance other peoples ability to do this! If your focus is to gain a higher income by simply modifying your personality then this is the right way.

Your currency is in money and tangible goods - while their currency is in learning or self improvement. You are already exceeding their potential by enhancing your own self improvement to accompany the return of tangible value. It’s like having your cake, eating it too AND being a great personality which feeds other peoples ambitions, goals, achievement and potential! What more could you ask for?

The first steps to doing this is to shake off any thoughts of that “tall poppy” behavior. You know, that thing where you are reluctant to enhance other people ahead of yourself. It’s selfish. Stop thinking that other people are going to be better than you just because you are helping them to improve! Instead, choose a project where you can help someone else and enhance their lives. Then focus on trading a tangible amount such as a meal, a drink or even cash for actually being the person that wants to help them, they will see you as a valuable person to have around.

It seems too easy right? Well why not try it! I guarantee you will see whatever you focus on in return for your valuable personality becoming exactly what you receive.

I hope that you can understand that once you are comfortable with your new, valuable personality. You can then multiply your own income! Instead of increasing your own value by a small thousand a month, you can exponentially increase you income by focusing on these three main things: Placing value in yourself, Making sure all of your time is worth Something and Making sure your personality is valuable to others and enhances other peoples lives!

This is here to inspire you to live a better lifestyle!
